McDonald Safaris has secured one of the finest and largest hunting areas in the Central African Republic today. The Kotto Safari area, due west of the Kotto River has had minimal hunting impact as it was formally used for family hunting occasions until now.

The area is one of few of its kind and remains exclusive to the Kotto and McDonald Safaris client. Serving both forest and savanna, Lord Derby Eland and the Elusive Bongo are considered the ultimate trophies. Forrest Buffalo, Yellow Back Duiker, Red river hog, Defassa Waterbuck and Forest Situtunga, are just some of the species to mention in the area.
